AIME celebrates 30th and Adelaide is in Dreamtime The Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event ( AIME ), run by Talk2 Media & Events for Melbourne Convention Bureau , held its 30-year celebratory event , 13-15 February , at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre . It attracted 400 hosted buyers , and approximately 3,000 visitors .
Business Events Australia has additionally announced that Adelaide will be the host city for Dreamtime 2023 , 7-10 November , the incentive showcase involving international buyers . It will be the first edition held since 2019 ; Dreamtime 2019 generated A $ 97m worth of business .

Penang takes its show on the road to India Malaysia ’ s Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau ( PCEB ) has been showcasing its MICE appeal in four Indian cities : Mumbai , New Delhi , Chennai and Hyderabad . Team PCEB met with an estimated 800 buyers and trade visitors during the ‘ Chalo Penang ’ tour . This year Penang anticipates around 2,500 events with 260,000 delegates , with an estimated economic impact ( EEI ) of US $ 230m .
“ The growth and advancements of the tourism industry in Penang is rapidly moving forward now ,” said Ashwin Gunasekeran , CEO of PCEB .
