eLearning Africa confident in conference return to Kigali The Rwandan capital , Kigali , is set to host eLearning Africa ( eLA ), 11-13 May , an international in-person conference that brings together political leaders , education experts and investors . This event will be one of the fi rst major global , in-person conferences in Africa since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic .
Dr Valentine Uwamariya , Rwanda ’ s minister of education , stated that she was delighted that the fi rst eLearning Africa conference after the pandemic will be held in Rwanda .

Jamaica to host World Free Zones Organisation ’ s 8th Conference
Jamaica is set to host the World Free Zones Organisation ’ s ( FZO ) 8th Annual International Conference and Exhibition ( AICE ), 13-17 June 2022 , at the Montego Bay Convention Centre . This will be the fi rst time that the AICE will be located in the Caribbean . The fi ve-day event will bring together international speakers , global free zone practitioners , policy makers , multi-lateral organisations , and business representatives to exchange ideas for creating a more integrated global trade and business environment .

New Zealand opens borders and ends capacity restrictions The New Zealand government , 13 April , has ended Covid-19 restrictions that had put capacity limits on events .
Lisa Hopkins , chief executive of Business Events Industry Aotearoa ( BEIA ), stated : “ The business events industry can fi nally breathe a sigh of relief . This announcement by minister for Covid Response , Chris Hipkins , coupled with the opening of air borders ( with Australian visitors ) was highly anticipated .”

2023 ICCA annual Congress destination announced The International Congress and Conference Association ( ICCA ) has announced that its 62nd annual Congress , scheduled 12-15 November 2023 , will be hosted in Bangkok , Thailand . The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau ( TCEB ) will support ICCA in the organisation of the 2023 congress .
Chiruit Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya , president of the TCEB , stated : “ Thailand takes pride in being a long-time active member of ICCA since 1974 and is honoured to host ICCA Congress 2023 .”
