SINGAPORE SHOWCASES ITS READINESS TO DELIVER A COVID-SAFE EVENTS ENVIRONMENT
From airport testing , through to testing each morning of the TravelRevive event , Singapore ’ s tourism teams and organisers came together at the end of November to deliver a case study that pilots a new course for conferencing .
Technology played a big part , with the latest wearable tracking devices also used by delegates in restaurants , hotels and other tourist attractions .
There were new-style meeting pods and exhibition booths , equipped with plexi-glass and cohorting of delegates on the main plenary floor at Marina Bay Sands .
Even those that couldn ’ t make it in person , could make their speech from the stage live , albeit in hologrammatic form , as demonstrated by organiser Messe Berlin ’ s CEO , Dr Christian Göke , bottom , left .
