New sign ups for IDEX and NAVDEX
The organising committee for the International Defence Exhibition ( IDEX 2021 ), the Naval Defence Exhibition ( NAVDEX 2021 ), and the International Defence Conference have announced the exhibitions will see the participation of five new countries for the first time : Israel , Luxembourg , Macedonia , Portugal , and Azerbaijan .
IDEX and NAVDEX will be held in-person from 21 – 25 February 2021 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre ( ADNEC ), with the International Defence Conference being held on 20 February at the ADNOC Business Centre .

IBTM World Virtual debut
The first IBTM World Virtual drew to a close with organiser Reed Travel Exhibition reporting nearly 13,000 business meetings having taken place during the event , 8-10 December , which took place fully online .
The 700 exhibitors attending carried out an average 19 meetings each with hosted buyers during the event .
One exhibitor , Barbara Jamison , tourism sector head , London & Partners , said : “ The technology was easy to use and enabled our team to engage with clients across various time zones .”
