Turkey plays its ACE of M.I.C.E. in Istanbul again

tradeshow, ACE of
M.I.C.E. by Turkish
Airlines, returns for a new
edition, 22-24 January 2020, at Istanbul
Congress Center, Turkey.
The show this year is offering a
three-day programme, centred on an
exhibition and content delivered by
industry professionals, with knowledge
sessions, the latest innovations in the
MICE industry and networking
opportunities.
ACE of M.I.C.E. organisers, Tourism
Media Group, are predicting 230
international buyers and 500 national
buyers at the 2020 show, in addition to
15,000 visitors.
An international hosted buyer
programme is running thanks to the
support of Turkish Airlines, the main
sponsor of the show.
Organisers say the numbers of
international industry partners and
media organisations have grown for
2020.
Party time
22 January 2020, the first day of the
exhibition, will see 1,500 MICE
professionals from 41 countries gather
for an opening party at Klein, one of
Istanbul’s most famous night clubs.

Primeclass’ has become a cornerstone
feature of the ACE of M.I.C.E Exhibition
by Turkish Airlines and this year’s
concept will include video mapping
shows, DJ and dance performances.
In terms of show content, ‘Production
Talks’ is a groundbreaking conference
forum sponsored by Vestel. It will run
22-23 January 2020 in the Istanbul
Congress Center’s Uskudar Hall with
700 delegates anticipated. Famous
meetings industry names will deliver a
series of presentations and the speaker
line up will include production directors
of great organisations from the Olympic
Games and Eurovision, to Broadway
Musicals.
Production Talks speakers will offer
insights and detail on how they realised
their major projects, as well as sharing
important insights about the production
sector and their vision on how the
industry will be shaped in coming years.
The sessions are designed to be
interactive, allowing the audience to
question and chat with speakers. Tickets

Istanbul in the spotlight
The show will also be a platform for
examining Turkey’s roadmap for turning
Istanbul into a top MICE destination.
Turkish MICE professionals will
make presentations over five separate
sessions of the show, including at a
summit moderated by Volkan Ataman,
President of Tourism Media Group.
Presidents of agencies, general managers
of hotels and other high level
professionals of the local industry’s
supplier community will also be present.
There will also be sessions where
directors of London and Barcelona
Convention Bureaus and the Global
Business Director of American Express
will deliver their personal success stories
to the Istanbul audience.
The conference will examine policies
and strategies still to be undertaken in
Istanbul, including the repositioning of
the city and its marketing.
The ACE of M.I.C.E. Awards return
and aim to support and recognise the
sustainable growth of congress, meeting
and event operations in Turkey and the
region.
