LOOKING AHEAD: 2025-2029
Dubai’ s calendar of upcoming business events demonstrates not only the scale of its success but also the strength of its long-term vision. Having secured 249 event bids in the first half of 2025 alone, a 29 % year-on-year increase, Dubai Business Events( DBE) continues to deliver on its mission of aligning the city’ s event strategy with the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. Together, these wins will welcome more than 127,000 delegates over the next four years, driving inward investment, collaboration, and innovation across key industries.
From the financial powerhouses of global banking to the fast-moving world of artificial intelligence and blockchain, Dubai’ s forward pipeline spans every high-growth sector shaping the future economy. Among the headline confirmations is SIBOS 2029, the world’ s leading financial services conference, which will bring nearly 12,000 banking and fintech professionals to the city-an endorsement of Dubai’ s standing as a global innovation and fintech hub.
In 2026, the city will host the World Congress on Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynaecology( ISUOG), drawing approximately 2,000 delegates from the global medical community; the Council on Tall Buildings & Urban Habitat( CTBUH) conference, with around 1,500 delegates, spotlighting Dubai’ s architectural and engineering excellence; and Token2049, one of the world’ s most influential blockchain summits, set to attract more than 15,000 attendees. Also confirmed are the Africa Energy Forum 2026, expected to convene 2,000 leaders in sustainable energy; and the leadership summit of one of the world’ s leading technology and internet companies, further underscoring Dubai’ s growing role as a global hub for innovation and enterprise.
These events will unfold across Dubai’ s expanding ecosystem of venues-from the Dubai World Trade Centre and Dubai Exhibition Centre( Expo City) to new facilities such as the Dubai Creek Harbour Event Centre-each designed for scalability, sustainability, and global connectivity. Collectively, they reflect the strength of Dubai’ s integrated business events infrastructure, world-class hospitality portfolio, and policy environment that enables lasting economic and knowledge legacies.
As DBE looks ahead, its emphasis remains on securing conferences that contribute to D33’ s objectives: fostering innovation, job creation, and international investment through the power of shared knowledge. Each confirmed event is not only a testament to Dubai’ s credibility on the world stage but also a milestone in its journey to become the world’ s most dynamic business events capital. n
