Conduct an interview (30 – 60 minutes) with a local business
manager, director, deputy director, advertising director or sales
manager in your community on how they advertise in the local
market. During the interview, you should discuss what type of
advertising agency (small or large) the local business uses and how it
would rate the advertising agency’s effectiveness. Also you should
ask how the business chose an advertising agency (referral, yellow
pages, etc.). Additionally ask what media does the business
use. Does it use TV, radio, newspapers, referrals or combinations
thereto? Which is the best media? Which was the most
expensive? Your interview should of course be well planned and
rehearsed. After the interview, write 5 slide video presentation
detailing the information learned and your analysis. The analysis
should provide an insight on the business’s overall advertising. Please
