TEAK LOUNGER
A beautiful teak wood lounger is the focus of this outdoor
space. These stylish chairs were originally designed for use on
grand ocean liners; their sturdy frames kept them from easily
tipping, the teak wood protected them from the elements and
they were stackable.
Add texture to an outdoor
space with luxurious Turkish
style throw blankets, towels,
natural weave baskets and a
gorgeous wide brim sun hat.

CHOOSING
FABRICS
I chose a teal
Shibori-inspired
fabric as the
inspiration for my
color scheme.
While teak is
luxurious all on
its own, you can
add an extra
touch of glam
with a custom
seat cushion
therefore I chose
a warm linen
color that works
well with the
wood tone.
USING GREENERY
A cascading display
of vines with twinkling
fairy lights softens
the brick wall, adding
a whimsical touch for
evening gatherings.
The addition of care-
fully selected tropical
plants and flowers
give the space a
tropical vibe, which
complemented the
teak sourced from
Indonesia.

Teak used outdoors will gradually weather into a handsome silver
gray while teak that is not exposed to natural sunlight will gradually
become a darker shade of brown.
OILING Teak Oil can be used to en-
hance the beauty of teak wood and
maintain its warm appearance and
tones. To maintain the color, apply
teak oil three times a year.
RESTORATION For more weath-
