The Boardwalk
Originally themed as a gypsy camp and later rethemed to the
“Roaring 20s” and “Knott’s Airfield”, this area is home to most
of the park’s major thrill rides such as Xcelerator, Supreme
Scream (the tallest structure in Orange County at 312 feet in
height), Riptide, Perilous Plunge, Sky Cabin Tower and the
roller coaster called Boomerang.
Camp Snoopy
Targeted towards younger visitors, Camp Snoopy features
many rides and attractions built specifically for children, and
is themed around the “Peanuts” comic strip characters.
Wild Water Wilderness
Wild Water Wilderness, a small area featuring one major ride—
the Big Foot Rapids river raft ride—also includes Wilderness
Scrambler as well as Mystery Lodge, a multimedia show
based on an Expo 86 pavilion featuring a Native American
storyteller.

November—Since 1991, Knott’s has offered free admission to
veterans and their families during November.
December—A holiday event known as Knott’s Merry Farm
includes manufactured snow, handcrafts exhibits and a visit

Knott’s Soak City Orange County
Knott’s Soak City Orange County, located directly across from
Knott’s Berry Farm, features over 20 water rides, all themed
to the surf woodies and longboards of the 1950s Southern
California coast. This water adventure includes single-rider,
high-speed slides, inner-tube slide flumes, a wave pool, lazy
river rides and a children’s pool and activity area. Other
Knott’s Soak City water parks are located in Palm Springs
and Chula Vista (south of San Diego).
Indian Trails
The most recent addition to Knott’s Berry Farm, Indian Trails
features no actual amusement rides but consists of a showcase
of Native American art, crafts and dance.
Special Events at Knott’s
March—In Winter Coaster Solace, an event taking place during the first or second weekend in March, roller coaster enthusiasts can arrive before the park opens and stay after the park
closes to ride the rides, eat at the Chicken Dinner Restaurant,
and receive behind-the- scenes tours of the rides.
October—Since 1973, the park’s annual Halloween Haunt has
drawn crowds when it rethemes itself into a “haunted house”style attraction in the form of mazes and scare zones in the
evening with various themes from aliens to spiders to clowns
