The Principal, (a catholic lay man) and I also help with fundraising for the school and setting a vision for the future. DeMatha Catholic High School is blessed with another Trinitarian who is on the faculty, and Fr. Damian Anuszewski is a professor of theology for the senior class. Fr. Damian has been at DeMatha for more than 30 years of his religious life, and his presence is legendary. The Board of Trustees (owners) of the school is the Provincial and the Provincial Council.

We are planning on having a Trinitarian Vocation Day in November, where several local Trinitarians will come and spend some time with a group of students and talk about a vocation to the Trinitarian way of life. It is our hope with more Trinitarians there, that some of the young men will consider entering our community.

Catholic education is a great opportunity for us to touch the next generation and to sensitize them to the needs of the world. All of the students are required to do 55 hours of community service during their four years at DeMatha, and during their senior and junior years, they must do 20 hours of direct service to the poor.

This immersion into the suffering and needs of the poor around us a direct manifestation of the spirit of St. John DeMatha. Many graduates continue in this type of commitment to the poor around the world either as a vocation in life or as a volunteer during their spare time. I invite any of the members of the Trinitarian Family to come and visit us and see how the spirit of St. John DeMatha is alive and thriving at our high school dedicated to our founder.
