The San Juan Education Foundation hosted its 13th annual An Evening with the STARS at The Center at 2300 in Sacramento on Sept. 27.
The event inducts notable professionals who attended San Juan Unified School District into its STARS Hall of Fame. This year’s honorees
were cancer researcher Dr. H. Michael Shepard, NASA engineer Heidi Parris and video game developer Scott Pease.
