OVERVIEW OVERVIEW
Enjoy the discovery of architecture from a child’s perspective.
This exhibit features student artwork from an AIA architect-led
course held at the Crocker Museum this summer. Through the
theme of paper engineering, the students learned about the
STEAM principles of gravity, momentum, friction, chance and
force distribution. Students worked together to build a pendu-
lum out of wood dowels and twine, assembled a painting tool
from glue bottle caps and recyclable water bottles and created
watercolor artwork in an activity creatively combining art and
building science. Come see the results of their efforts!
Exhibit founded by Ida Clair, AIA.
