Haggin Museum
In 1928, the San Joaquin Pioneer and
Historical Society founded the Haggin
Museum, funded by Stockton’s Robert T.
McKee and wife Eila Haggin McKee, who
named it in honor of her father. Located
on North Pershing Avenue, the Haggin
Museum is home to a collection of works
by 19th- and early 20th-century American
and European artists, plus galleries show-
casing San Joaquin Valley history — with
recreated period rooms and thousands of
historical objects — in more than 34,000
square feet.
