MAKING IT ALL HAPPEN
The Comrades Marathon Association is a unique organisation in the South African running domain. It’ s more like a family, or a group of lifelong friends, than an event company, with many of the Board, staff and volunteers having been involved in the race in one way or another for upwards of 20, 30 or even 40 years, including many who have run the race. These are the people who make it all happen every June, with a lot of hard work over the months leading up to the race.
