2022 is shaping up to be a big year for the cruise industry as several new ships prepare to hit the water . First , Virgin Voyages ’ Valiant Lady made her “ Mermaiden ” voyage from Portsmouth to Zeebrugge earlier this year . This summer , Norwegian Cruise Line ’ s Norwegian Prima is expected to make waves when the ship sets sail from Amsterdam to Reykjavik on an eight-night adventure .
