Variety of parameters could allow monitoring of tumour immunity and immune system The immune response to any cancer is dependent on a whole variety of factors , which only a multi-parameter test could monitor . There are several parameters that could allow the monitoring of tumour immunity and the immune system . This could include markers such as for MSI in the ctDNA , whole blood microRNA signatures that are thought to reflect the activity of the immune system , and other complex DNA expression patterns detectable through NGS .

Market overview
We anticipate a significant increase in the use and availability of companion , complementary and treatment monitoring diagnostics . These will likely slowly morph into one larger test and will be driven by the discovery of new biomarkers via next generation sequencing as well as the increasing ability to detect markers in body fluids , allowing easier and more routine sample collection . The diagnostics are likely to become increasingly complex with the use of sophisticated multiplex signatures . Given the increasing focus on the immune system , we would expect an increasing number of these diagnostics to focus on monitoring immune activity .
