DENIM JEANS

BRAND

These jeans are denim in the truest form as they are 100 % cotton; the colour has been absorbed with depth and has created a true, ink blue. These jeans are mid rise and are cut close to the body, with a neat hem line. In line with the contemporary ilk as they are ankle grazers. The weight of the jean also conveys COS ' s high standards.
Topshop Denim studio is renowned in the U. K. for its wide variety of styles. The MOM Jean in particular is denim in the Trieste form being made from 100 % cotton; they are durable and slightly heavy in weight- however, the fit and comfort is jeopardised as they are quite restricting.
Zara has led the way with a new innovation to achieve ultra slim jeans; they add zips to the bottom of their jeans to ensure they are as close to the skin as possible. These jeans are high in detail with their slightly distressed tones, and quantity of pockets. Whilst the jeans are 46 % polyester making them less breathable, this is a great advantage to the colour as they are an interesting blue that will be less prone to fading- whilst being competitively priced at £ 29.
Not as slim fit as the label suggests- creates lots of gathering around the knees and calves. Denim looks more like jersey, which also had an impact on the colour as they are quite dull. They have incorporated vertical creases in the design to add an element of detail, also noticeable on more high end brands.
huge embellishments in every area- from white stitching- ankle detail( lace), distressed on the thigh showing luxury and opulence.
