Welcome Shelly Sorden , FNP-C
Community Springs congratulates Shelly Sorden , FNP-C , on her appointment to the clinician team at CMH El Dorado Springs Medical Center and Walk-In Clinic . Shelly began her nursing career at Community Springs as a Certified Nurse Assistant in 2006 . Through her time at the facility she received her Bachelor of Science in nursing and became the facility ’ s Director of Nursing , and later received her Master of Science in Nursing .
In her knew clinic role she will be providing care to our residents in collaboration with EDSMC physicians to provide preventative care and clinical follow-up for long-term care residents and diagnose and treat residents for acute and complex illnesses .
We are proud of Shelly and her many accomplishments and are excited that she will continue to provide care to the residents we know and love .
Holiday Update
Christmas will look a little different this year at Community Springs , but we ’ re going to muster up all the Christmas spirit we can and have a wonderful time . We encourage family and friends to send gifts to your loved ones to open on Christmas day . Include your name and phone number with the gift so we can set up a time for you and your loved one to Facetime or Skype while they open their gifts . Activity Highlights
Residents enjoyed a “ hunting ” activity and target practice .
