Community Springs took
home the 1st place award
in the MHCA 2019 “Facility
Involvement Contest” in
the black and white
category. This contest is
held during the Mid-Year
Conference in Jefferson
City March 5-6. The
contest asks each facility
to create the front page of
a newspaper as if they
were the feature story. It
is a time for facilities to
showcase their building
and services offered, the
residents and staff, activi-
ties, awards, creativity and
more. There were a total
of 38 participants in both
the color category and
black & white. 1st place
winner received a plaque
and a $100 gift card for
the resident special funds.

from Branson, Missouri!
We enjoyed listening
to gospel, comedy,
bluegrass, cowboy and
popular music.
The Sons perform at
Silver Dollar City May
through October and go
on-tour in their off
months.
