Message from Chief of Police Al Jones
The Arlington Police Department takes pride in working with both the residents and visitors to the City of Arlington to ensure they have access to the many resources available in our great city and region . As public servants , we stand ready to provide education , answers , and assistance to as many individuals and families as we can . We do this not only by providing direct law enforcement related support , but also by partnering with many helpful and beneficial organizations that assist those in need . We greatly value these partnerships and recognize that by working together , we make our community a better place to live and visit .
As the Chief of Police for the City of Arlington , I encourage everyone to utilize all resources available to them to enhance the quality of their life and the lives of their loved ones . One should never be afraid to ask for help from a community organization or a member of the Arlington Police Department . We are here to help and I am proud of how hard all APD officers , professional staff , and volunteers work to serve this great community with integrity , compassion , and fairness .
