Education
Academic excellence is the hallmark of the public
school system in Ridgewood.
The Ridgewood Public Schools system is made up
of five elementary schools, two middle schools and
one high school. In addition, the district offers a
high-quality licensed day care facility for infants
and preschool children on the site of a former
elementary school, where there is also a special
education preschool program, a pre-K program
(age four) and a transitional Kindergarten program
(age five).
