“ Foresight is strongest when it becomes part of your organizational culture rather than an episodic event. Foresight lives in a continual cycle of learning, conversation, and adjustment.”

— Kristine Metter l Transparent Organizational Ethics:
Organizations face increasing expectations for transparency and ethical behavior. Ubiquitous connectivity, improved sensing and recording capabilities, and pervasive social media create an environment of“ hyper-transparency.” As a result, reputation management and values-based leadership are becoming even more central to organizational resilience.

Looking Ahead

This introductory session and the work that followed reinforced that CAI must continue evolving alongside the world around us. That means staying curious, paying attention to emerging signals, and seeking strong data and evidence across the organization to guide decisions. In May 2026, the
Business Partners Council( one of the three MG Councils) followed up the initial discussion by hosting a virtual open forum on this topic. The group was surveyed prior to the forum and private equity, transparent ethics and the talent drought all emerged as leading drivers of change to that group.
So, if you’ re reading this, I invite you to share your perspective: Which drivers do you believe will have the greatest impact on CAI, and what concerns you most? Feel free to reach out directly or share your thoughts with chapter leadership. egardless of your role or position, on behalf of the Business Partners Council and CAI leadership, we look forward to continuing to use foresight planning to help ensure CAI remains resilient, relevant, and prepared, not only for today’ s members, but also for those who have yet to find us.
