Summer’ s here— and with it comes that fresh energy to reset, refresh, and get things moving again in our communities. Whether it’ s a longpostponed project or a professional goal you’ ve been meaning to check off your list, this issue is all about growth in every sense of the word.
We’ re calling it our“ Blooming” issue— because, just like the vibrant Florida landscape this time of year, our communities are full of momentum. From property improvements to career advancement, there’ s a lot happening across the associations we serve, and we wanted this issue to reflect that.
You’ ll hear directly from credentialed managers about how earning their designations helped them grow and gain confidence. We’ ve also included articles on pond management, lawn sprinklers, and early summer pests— real topics that CAMs and board members face every day. Whether you’ re managing a budget, refreshing your grounds, or tackling a summer project, you’ ll find something here to support the work you’ re doing.
We’ re also shining a light on how to get more involved— whether through volunteering with CAI or submitting an article of your own. This magazine is stronger when it reflects a range of voices and experiences, and we’ d love to hear yours.
And finally, we’ re celebrating some exciting news: our West Florida Chapter was recently honored with a CAI National Award, and our very own Scott gilbert has been recognized nationally with the CAI Rising Star Award! We’ re proud to see the incredible contributions from our region being recognized on a larger stage.
Here’ s to a season of progress, collaboration, and maybe even a l ittle time by the pool.
Warmly,

Tonya
