To bulk or not to bulk, that is the question
In today’ s everchanging world of telecommunications where“ choice” has become the buzzword of the day, homeowners and condominium association leaders are faced with a dilemma. Nobody likes to be told what to do. Property managers and board members don’ t want to raise fees and dictate services people may or may not want or need.
Proposing a switch to a community-wide bulk agreement after residents are used to selecting their television and internet services at retail can be daunting. But when homeowners hear about how much money can be saved and how much their service can be improved, objections seem to disappear.
Today’ s environment
Internet access has become the new utility. No longer something simply nice to have, access to fast, reliable internet services has become a necessity. As we continue to see businesses, retailers, and even schools move towards a more fully-online presence, the need for affordable access to these platforms has become absolutely necessary.

As a Community Association Manager or board member, it’ s important to look for a provider who is in it for the long haul, and one that can build a solid relationship with your community to understand its unique needs and offer ongoing support and education.
The most effective partnerships are with service providers who can elevate your community’ s technology service by using long-lasting materials, such as fiber optics versus copper cabling, that can withstand extreme weather conditions – including hurricanes – and that are capable of receiving periodic upgrades that ensure the network is
