am notoriously the furtherest thing from a green thumb that you’ ll ever meet. It’ s a running joke between my fellow editor in Weatherford, who is a bit of a plant nerd. She’ s gifted me several plants, some of which I’ ve managed to keep watered and alive. I can’ t account for all of them though.
That’ s why I’ m so grateful for the Johnson County Master Gardeners. We are so blessed to have this organization locally, which is full of knowledgeable gardeners. This year the group is celebrating it’ s 25th anniversary and we have included a feature on JCMG in the Home & Garden section.
Also in the section you’ ll find ads from businesses ready to help with your home improvement, lawn and landscaping needs. There’ s even a few stories about increasing your home value and the best ways to keep your carpets clean.
