JCMG are volunteers who work with the Texas A & M AgriLife Extension to improve gardening skills throughout the community. Master Gardeners share gardening knowledge through community service and outreach, gardener training and educational programs. Their goal is to increase the availability of horticultural information and improve the community’ s quality of life through various horticultural projects.
The dedicated volunteers achieve these goals by conducting seminars, workshops, newspaper articles and demonstration gardens.
