FROZEN
Plaza Theatre Co. brings“ Frozen— The Broadway Musical” back to stage this holiday season. Performances begin at 7:30 p. m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with 3 p. m. matinees on Saturday. The show runs Nov. 21 through Dec. 23 at Plaza Theatre Co. at Dudley Hall, 305 S. Anglin St. in Cleburne. Disney’ s“ Frozen” brings the beloved story to life with dazzling spectacle, unforgettable songs like“ Let It Go,”“ Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” and“ For the First Time in Forever,” plus thrilling new music. RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER JR.
Plaza Theatre Co. is also staging“ Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Jr.” on Dec. 16-23 at Plaza Theatre Co. at Dudley Hall, 305 S. Anglin St. in Cleburne. The students of Plaza Academy perform the classic movie live on stage.
The holiday classic soars off the screen and onto the stage in“ Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Jr.,” a musical adventure based on the beloved television special.
Filled with favorite songs like
“ Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and“ A Holly Jolly Christmas,” this magical story follows Rudolph, a young reindeer who doesn’ t feel like he belongs because of his shiny red nose. When he sets out to find a place where he fits in, Rudolph meets other misfits— including Hermey the Elf, Yukon Cornelius, and the lovable Bumble— and learns that what makes you different can also make you special.
When a snowstorm threatens to cancel Christmas, it’ s up to Rudolph to save the day and remind everyone that true acceptance and kindness shine brightest of all.

THE CHRISTMAS CAROL MIRACLE
This year’ s season for the Greater Cleburne Carnegie Players concludes with“ The Christmas Carol Miracle,” which begins Dec. 5 and runs through Dec. 14.
Performances begin at 7:30 p. m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 p. m., with 2:30 p. m. matinees on Saturday and Sunday. They stage at the Richard“ Dick” Helmcamp Community Theatre in the Cleburne Conference Center, 1501 W. Henderson St.
The orphanage in Derrick, west Texas, is facing hard times. The rest of the town is gleefully rolling in riches since oil was discovered. But the money that supported the orphans has dried up. Winning the Christmas Carol Contest seems the orphans’ only hope— until the newest resident arrives. Will his voice be musical enough to secure the win? Or— oh, horrors— will his singing cause them to lose the contest— and the treasured prize money— and cause the orphanages’ doors to be locked forever?

THE BELLS OF CHRISTMAS DAY
Songbird Live presents“ The Bells of Christmas Day” on Dec. 13-14 at 210 E. Henderson St. Rob Vuono composed“ The Bells of Christmas Day” as a Christmas celebration in tribute to the Songbird Live Music Venue and his longtime friend Tom Burkett.
The 80-minute orchestral piece includes a blend of original compositions and many well-known songs, all presented in fresh new arrangements. The 16-member orchestra is conducted by Dr. John Korak, who is also a longtime friend and musical associate of Burkett.
The work combines familiar Christmas songs with unique, unheard settings.
Performances begin at 7:30 p. m. Saturday and 1 p. m. Sunday. Tickets are $ 30 per person.

BRAZOS CHAMBER ORCHESTRA
Join Brazos Chamber Orchestra’ s annual Christmas Concert Series. All concerts start at 7:30 p. m. and end around 9:30 p. m. As always the concerts are free and open to the public.
