Cleburne Chamber of Commerce Message from your Cleburne chamber team As the chamber and our community continue to grow during this unusual time, our goal is to ensure that we are doing all that we can to help our members and community prosper in the changing environment. We take the responsibility seriously and are committed to providing helpful resources, responsiveness and flexibility during this time. Thank you to our members, board of directors, city leadership and community members for the opportunity to partner with you in “Keeping Cleburne Strong!” We fully believe we will come out of this stronger than before. We have faced adversity and proved repeatedly that Cleburne is a community we are all proud to be part of. This community spirit is what inspired the joint campaign with the city of Cleburne called All Aboard Cleburne. The goal of the campaign is to encourage locals to shop, dine, play & stay in Cleburne to stimulate the economy and provide support for businesses and individuals. Our mission at the Cleburne Chamber of Commerce is simple — to promote business and the community. We work hard to lead the way for business and provide real benefits for you and your employees. Membership in the chamber is an investment in your community, and we invite you to join us in making Cleburne and Johnson County a great place to live, work and play. Please know that the Cleburne Chamber of Commerce is here for you. If there is anything you need help with or any questions you may have, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We will get through this together! 21st annual Golf Tournament planned for June 19 The Cleburne Chamber of Commerce is moving forward with plans for the 21st annual Golf Tournament sponsored by BATES etc. TRAVEL on June 19, with new measures in place for the health and safety of all players, staff and volunteers. Some but not all of the modifications include: • Currently, only one player per cart will be allowed unless from the same household. • Box lunches (Don’t worry — it will still include Cleburne Golf Links’ famous hamburgers) will be provided from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. with seating outside. • At this time, we plan to hold a virtual awards ceremony, but more on that at a later date. The four-person scramble tournament now will have a morning and afternoon flight. The morning flight will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will be limited to 18 teams. Once that limit is met, an afternoon flight will be added with a 1 p.m. start time (also 18 teams max). Register to reserve your spot. Payment preferred at time of registration. James Hardie.
