A former youth pastor’ s passion for sports led him to national television and the creation of a nonprofit.
Thirty-seven-year-old Jared Greer was always playing sports with his youth, so they suggested he try out for American Ninja Warriors.

ning and doing pull ups,” he said.“ There were no ninja gyms near us, so I had no clue what I was doing. There was a gym that popped up in Dallas, and I started going regularly and got better, and would do well at local competitions.”
He recently appeared on the show for the fourth time— featured as the“ Trick Show Ninja.”
“ I have been involved in athletics my entire life,” he said.“ In high school, I excelled in football, basketball and baseball. I went to East Texas Baptist University to continue my athletic career, but instead, I felt called to be a youth pastor.
