PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE CAI-SAN DIEGO OFF AND RUNNING! By Melissa Brown I t is truly an honor and privilege to be serving as the 2020 CAI-San Diego President! Following in the footsteps of our 2019 President, Rachael Robenolt, I am hoping to carry on the great job, momentum and excitement set by my predecessors. I want to welcome our two new Board Members, Laura Kwiatkowski and Tim Flanagan! We are excited to have you on board and are looking forward to another record breaking year for CAI-SD. I also want to thank our outgoing board members, Brian Kalmenson, Patrick Morrisey and Patrick Prendiville, whose hard work and dedication to CAI-SD cannot go without being recognized. Thank you both! Our officers this year are, Nathan Cornett (President-Elect), Clint McClure (Vice President), Garrett Reynolds (Treasurer) and Robert Riddick (Secretary). We had an exciting January with our Awards Gala at the Kona Kai Resort. Congratulations to all of the award winners and nominees! The Awards Gala was amazing this year, I do not recall ever seeing so many attendees. Thank you to all of our sponsors and all of you for making it an unforgettable night! The Gala was followed up by the Reverse Trade Show, which was also a successful event. Thank you to all the Management Companies that participated and all of our industry service providers that attended. I am looking forward to seeing everyone throughout the year and am open to any feedback or input on how we can improve or how great we are doing!
