Rattlesnakes
Rattlesnakes mostly live in
hills and rocky areas. When
the weather gets hot, they
become more active. Make
sure your communities are
aware when snake sightings
have been reported to the
management company.
A great idea is to post
information about “snake
avoidance” training for your
homeowners and their pets.
There are several websites
with more information about
classes.
If you are aware of any
wildlife in your HOA community
that could present a safety
threat, post the warming on
your HOA website, distribute
flyers to mailboxes, bulletin
boards, and send out an
e-mail blast to make sure
homeowners are aware too. By
adhering to these suggestions,
managers can help respect wild
habitats while keeping their
communities safe.
