Hospital Care
Our hospital needs major updating. ( HRH ) For only being 20
yrs old, it is not much better than some of the European
facilities we have seen. Non-emergency care is too limited.
Waiting for hours and hours to see a physician is not
acceptable, especially in a smaller community such as
Hannibal.

I would like to see hosp. become more than a first aid station.
Ambulance & er are good. We need to get some really good
docs. Need new adm at hosp. We have a few good docs.
Living in Pike County, I feel that our hospital is a band aid
station, the clinics are just so so.
Anything at Hannibal. They send everyone to Quincy or
Columbia.

Hospice directly needed that is linked to HRH. Not serviced by
a competing hospital.
Improved orthopedic services by
doctors that have one view. Midwest is very biased.
ER
physicians that are consistent HRH & Hannibal Clinic should
be one corporation not competing

More available Internal medicine and MDs
Acess to low cost services for those individuals who make too
much for State Ins but health ind is too costly.
They charge to much money.
We need more options for the working poor. We need options
of low-income dental and eye care.
A friend of mine was on SSI and they took her off SSI and put
her on SS and then cut her off Medicaid. Now she has no help
at all.
