opportunity to explore more of the World outside the classroom.

Tom’s of Maine 50 States for good Community Sponsorship Program. 50 States
for Good is a national initiative to support the goodness behind grassroots
community projects.

USDA Farm to School Grants. To assist eligible entities in implementing far to
school programs that improve access to local food in eligible schools.

USDA Beginner Farmer and Rancher Development Program. Cooperative State
Research, Education and Education Serice (CREES).

USDA Rural Development’s Community Facilities Grants. Grants for Farm to
School initiatives in rural communities with less than 20,000 people.

FOYA Unsung Heroes Awards. Grants are given to K-12 educators utilizing new
teaching methods and techniques that improve learning.

Whole Kids Foundation Garden Grants. Available to those developing or
currently maintain a garden project on school grounds that will engage children
with fresh fruits and vegetables.
