Offers young change-makers $500 to gather their friends and turn their creative ideas to help their communities into projects taking place on or around Global Your Service Day, which usually runs in the month of April. Donald Samull classroom Herb Garden Grant. The Her Society of America will select 4 classrooms to receive a $200 Grant to establish an outdoor her barden. The funds may be used for soil, plant trays, containers, youth-sized tools, and, more. EPA Environmental Education Grants. The U.S. Enironmental Protection Agency (EPA) is accepting grant applications for environmental education projects and programs that promote environmental stewardship and help develop knowledgeable and responsible students, teachers, and citizens. Fiskars Project Orange Thumb. Winners receive cash and tools to help support their goals of neighborhood beautification and horticulture education. Fruit Tree 101. The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation and Stretch Island Fruit Co, are giving fruit trees to K-12 parents who submit their children’s school. Trees available for specific markets. Fuel Up to Play 60.
