Our 'Seeing is Believing' tours provide a comprehensive look at an established
community growing project. Participants will be taken on a guided tour of Heeley
City Farm led by farm director John Le Corney.
We will travel by minibus to four different sites: Heeley City Farm, Firth Park
Community Allotment and Meersbrook Park Walled Garden.
The tour will be of special interest to community growers who are looking to sell
produce through a garden centre, community cafe or to local restaurants.
There will be a particular focus on exploring how food growing micro-sites can
feed into, and expand the reach of, a city farm or growing enterprise.
