Tutor Connect staff work with students in
one-on-one or small group settings to focus
and meet the unique needs of your child.
Tutoring sessions aim to give students an
extra academic boost whether they need
to catch up, or speed ahead!

• Positive learning environment: Tutoring
takes place at your child’s school, other
Anoka-Hennepin schools or at local,
public libraries.
• Customized learning strategies: If you
choose, tutoring staff may connect with
your child’s classroom teacher to
understand where he or she is at and
what areas may be best to focus on in
the sessions. Staff adjust activities to
meet the needs of each student.
• Updates on progress: Assessments
are completed every three sessions
to understand how your child
is progressing.
Academic support through Tutor Connect is
aligned with the K-12 curriculum to ensure that
your family gets the most out of the tutoring
