SCHOLARSHIP / TUITION ASSISTANCE INFORMATION

Tuition assistance and scholarship details:

• There are reserved tuition assistance and full scholarship spots in each class.
• For a scholarship or tuition assistance, you will need to complete the application form and submit required documents, including proof of income verification. You will receive a link to the scholarship application form in your confirmation email when you complete your Eleyo registration.
• Scholarship seats will be filled on a first come, first completed basis. Once you have submitted all required documents, our registration team will verify your eligibility and provide a preschool placement based on your eligibility and your preferred class choice.
• Four-year-old full scholarships for four or five day per week classes may include transportation. Our team will let you know if you qualify for transportation once your eligibility is determined.
• Tuition assistance and full scholarships are available using Minnesota Department of Education funding. All requirements are based on state statutes and guidelines. Eligibility for these funding streams are not determined by our registration team. Our district follows state requirements and is unable to make exceptions to the specific funding requirements.
• Three-year-old scholarship and sliding fee eligibility is based on income qualification.
• Four-year-old scholarships are based on income qualification and other eligibility criteria. Some non-income eligibility factors are:

• Other cash assistance from state or local government
• Unemployment benefits
• Worker’ s compensation
• Veteran’ s benefits
• Strike benefits
- multilingual learners who qualify as an English Language Learner- a student who qualifies under McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act- has a parent who is incarcerated
• Please call our office if you have questions and want to discuss the eligibility criteria. Completing the scholarship application form will provide qualification for non-income based eligibility factors as well as income eligibility. In order to provide equitable access to all scholarship options, our team will confirm non-income based scholarship eligibility.
• Social Security, disability benefits
• Regular income from trusts or estates
• Annuities, investment income, rental income
• Regular cash payments from outside household
