Option 2 Four-year-old preschool Option 2 Free, half-day every day preschool option with transportation included. No income eligibility guidelines. Option 2 is open to families who: • are residents of the Anoka-Hennepin School District with a child four years of age by September 1, 2020 AND • live in or attend daycare in the attendance areas of: • Adams Elementary School • Monroe Elementary School • Evergreen Park World Cultures Community School • University Avenue Elementary School Student class placement Families who register by 10 a.m. February 21, 2020 will be placed at class locations through the lottery and notified if their child was selected on Monday, February 24, 2020. Families who register after the lottery, will be placed at class locations as space is available until classes are full. Specific class placement for morning or afternoon classes is based on school district bus routes. Families will be notified of their child’s preschool class schedule before August 2020.
