Four-year-old preschool Option 1
Free, half-day Monday-Thursday preschool option with transportation included.
Option 1 is open to residents of Anoka-Hennepin Schools with a child four years of age by September 1, 2018, who meet the income guidelines and live or attend daycare in attendance areas of the schools listed on page 7.
Income guidelines
Proof of income is required to complete the registration. This must be received within two weeks of registration. Without proof of income, your child’ s registration will not be placed in a class and may be withdrawn.

Students will be placed in morning or afternoon classes based on school district bus routes. Families will be notified of the preschool class schedule before August 2018.
Registrations are welcome throughout the year and will be placed as space is available until classes are full.

Classes are held Monday-Thursday with both morning and afternoon sessions( Morris Bye Elementary School is a 5-hour class.). Classes follow the Anoka-Hennepin School District calendar.

Meal / snack
As part of the U. S. Free and Reduced School Meals Program, children attending preschool in the morning will be served breakfast or a snack. Children attending preschool in the afternoon will be served lunch or a snack.
