The Anoka-Hennepin School District offers Kindergarten Readiness Preschool for children from families who meet income guidelines and will be 4-years-old by September 1 , 2017 .
Enrollment for the Morris Bye Elementary site is limited to Anoka-Hennepin residents living in or attending daycare in the attendance area of Morris Bye Elementary School . Eligible registrations received after early registration ( April 7 ) will be placed on a space available basis until classes are full .

The program offers a curriculum that is aligned with the district kindergarten curriculum . Licensed teachers monitor child progress and development throughout the school year . Children gain skills and experiences in :
• learning to follow routines and rules
• learning to get along with other children
• literacy , books and writing
• and math , science , art and music Classes meet September 2017 to June 2018 , Monday through Thursday , morning or afternoon ( 2 3 / 4 hours per day ). Free transportation and snack / meal are also included .
