DISCOVER. PLAY. DEVELOP.
The goal of the Adventures Plus program is to support the development of the
whole child by providing age-appropriate learning experiences and opportuni-
ties. Programming is focused on youth engagement, with curriculum centered
around creativity and the arts, language and literacy, cognitive, physical, social
and emotional development.
Children may choose to participate in interest-based activities such as: visual
and performing arts, reading and writing, math and science, physical games,
outdoor play as well as team building and problem solving. Adventures Plus
provides opportunities for sensory play, small and large group activities,
homework assistance, and sports and field trips.
FIELD TRIP FUN
Summer is a fun break from school and Adventures Plus strives to make summer
exciting with on-site activities and off-site field trips each week. All children are
provided with an Adventures Plus t-shirt to wear on all field trips for quick identi-
fication when exploring new places. Field trip costs are included in the childcare
fee for the summer (additional fee applies for Peak Adventures).
LUNCH TIME WITH FRIENDS
Adventures Plus provides a breakfast snack and an afternoon snack. Children
bring their own lunch with beverage each day. Milk may be purchased for an
additional fee for those that bring a lunch. A hot lunch option including milk may
be purchased for $3 per student, per day. (Hot lunch option not available at Peak
Adventure locations.) No hot lunch and milk service the week of Aug. 24-28.
