Our goal

We aim to develop the whole child by providing choice-based educational and recreational opportunities . Programming is focused on youth engagement , with curriculum centered around creativity and the arts , language and literacy , cognitive , physical , social and emotional development .

Our staff

Caring and qualified staff provide a high-quality experience for each child . Staff receive ongoing training , resources , and mentoring to aid in their professional development .

Non-refundable registration fee : $ 35 / child charged at the time the contract is accepted .

Schedule changes require a two week notice and $ 30 fee . No credit given for absences .

REGISTRATION OPENS :

Feb . 18 for current program families . March 18 for families new to the program .

Adventures Plus is the Anoka-Hennepin school-age care program , coordinated by Community Education . School-age child care is an option for all families enrolled in the school district with elementary school-aged children . Care is available before- and after-school , and on non-school days including winter , spring and summer breaks .

AM session

( 6:30 a . m . to school start time .) Breakfast included .

Part-time : $ 14.55 per child per day ( 2-4 days per week )

Full-time : $ 11.45 per child per day ( 5 days per week )

PM session

( School dismissal time to 6 p . m .) Snack included .

Part-time : $ 12.50 per child per day ( 2-4 days per week )

Full-time : $ 10 per child per day ( 5 days per week )

Non-school days ( select sites )

( 6:30 a . m . to 6 p . m .) Breakfast and snack included . Days when there is no school ( excluding holidays ).

Daily rate : $ 46.80 per child if registered by deadline .

$ 60 per child pending space availability for late registrations .
