Come on out to the observatory where you will not just learn astronomy , but learn to DO astronomy . Navigating with star charts and sky maps , you will learn how to set-up , aim , and focus a telescope . With these skills , you will be able to observe the moon , planets , nebulae , and clusters . This is your chance to learn to run the massive telescope in the dome as well as smaller telescopes which you will run by yourself to explore the cosmos .
