BEGINNING DIVING - 4 WEEK SESSIONS
January 11 through March 7
Come learn the basics of diving – both off the side of the pool and diving board. This small
group environment will allow individuals to work at their own pace. Program includes four -
45 minute sessions. Students should be comfortable swimming in deep water. Watch for
additional offerings in spring and summer.
• Session 1: Saturdays l Jan. 11 - Feb. 1 - 9-9:45 a.m. Price: $65
• Session 2: Saturdays l Feb. 8 - Mar. 7 - 9-9:45 a.m. - no class on Feb. 15. Price: $65
MIDDLE SCHOOL BEGINNING SWIM LESSONS
This class is for students who are in grades sixth-eighth grade and are beginning swimmers.
The basics of floating, gliding, water entry, and beginning strokes will be taught. Watch for
additional offerings in spring and summer.
• Session 1: Saturdays l Jan. 11 - Feb. 1 - 12-12:40 p.m. Price: $65
• Session 2: Saturdays l Feb. 8 - Mar. 7 - 12-12:40 p.m. - no class on Feb. 15. Price: $65
COMING THIS SUMMER - JUNIOR LIFEGUARDING
Designed for kids ages 11-14, it helps build a foundation of knowledge, attitudes and skills for
future lifeguards.

Roosevelt Community Pool is now hiring for
summer positions. Schedules are flexible, ideal for
high school or college students, retirees or anyone
interested in working extra hours. This is a great
opportunity to learn leadership skills. Training is
provided upon hire.
Positions include:
• Water Safety Aides (Ages 15 and up.)
• Water Safety Instructors (Ages 16 and up.)
