Participating in extra-curricular activities and athletic programs is a great way for students to engage in their school community as they meet friends and learn new things. Community Education offers a wide variety of unique activities, designed for teens, in the evening, on the weekend or after-school to enhance their academic and social experience: • ATHLETICS: Team and individual sports • PLAY: Recreation, games and fitness • EXPLORE: Arts, cooking, Science and technology • LEARN: Safety, babysitting and lessons • FAMILY FUN Community Education welcomes participants of all abilities. Teams are formed based on each player’s skill level. Teams practice after school and compete against other Anoka-Hennepin middle schools. Students must have a Sports Qualifying Physical (valid for three years) on file to participate. The form is available online or at your school’s Community Education office. Activity busses are available Monday - Thursday. Parents are responsible for transportation on Fridays and after games. For specific schedules, visit www.ahmiddleschoolathletics.org after the first week of the program.
