JR. INVENTORS WORKSHOP
We have opened up the Inventors Workshop for a week of fun problem-solving, creativity,
and of course, engineering! Students will invent new machines and explore creative design
solutions using the Engineering Design Process. Discover how a wind-up toy works and
design your own drawing robot inside the Jr. Inventors Workshop.

JR. FULL SPEED AHEAD
Zero to 60 in two seconds?! How fast can an object go without compromising safety?
Students will work with their Pit Crew to design and build things that go fast such as cars,
roller coasters, zip lines and rockets. On your mark, get set, go!

JR. WINGS, WHEELS AND SAILS
Who doesn’t love to travel? Did you know that engineers are involved in designing different
modes of transportation as well as inventing tools that aid in travel? During this camp,
students will get their passports and travel to a new country every day by a different means –
by land, water or air. Create your own rolling rambler, understand what makes boats float,
fly your own helicopter and more!

JR. WRECK-IT WEEK
Smash! Crash! BOOM! Students in this camp enjoy building and breaking! We will use the
Engineering Design Process to create a wrecking ball, a catapult, construct safety mechanisms
to protect a raw egg from impact and more. Fasten your hard hats and safety goggles for a
smashing good time!

JR. SCIENCE OF
SUPERPOWERS
The world of comic books is full
of heroes, villains, challenges and
triumphs — and the heroes need help!
Ready to see just what it takes to be
super? In this camp, students answer
the call for aid by dissecting superhero
skill-sets to uncover the science
behind super powers. Through a week
of hands-on exercises and projects,
students fly alongside Superman, sling
webs with Spiderman and recognize
the real-life heroes of our world.
