Come shake a tail feather as we learn about rhythm, dynamics and choreography all while singing some fantastic songs. Let’s groove! Using creativity and flare, you’ll make a sundress, satchel, sunglasses case and more. Learn multiple hand and machine sewing techniques, then showcase your projects for family and friends the last day. We will learn moves from Fortnite and put together fun dances that will be performed on the last day of camp! Students will also learn warm-ups such as stretching, isolations and across the floor exercises. This class is not only fun but will improve posture, strength and flexibility in a positive and self-esteem building atmosphere. Dance is proven to not only build strong bodies but strong minds and self-esteem as well! Please bring a nut free snack and beverage daily. Friends and family are invited to observe the final 15 minutes of the final class. We’ll cre- ate art inspired by some of the most popular skins of the game, and we’ll use all the best “mats” of the art world: clay, paint, and so much more. We’ve got Brite Bomber, Durr Burger, and P.A.N.D.A Team Leader… and we’ll even make a Liteshow that really glows in the dark! There will be no need for “heals” of any kind at this camp. This is a weapon-free zone, and there will be no depictions of violence in our art.
