FAMILY TRIPS FAMILY FUN-TRAIL RIDE (PARENT/CHILD) No experience is necessary to enjoy the natural beauty of Bunker Hills Regional Park from horseback. Bunker Park Stables offer a wide variety of horses, including draft horses, for all sizes and skill levels. They will assist you in mounting, and provide brief riding and safety instructions prior to departure, and dismounting. Your guide is extensively trained and expe- rienced, and is certified in First Aid/CPR. Helmets are required for trail riders under 18. Riding helmets are available at no cost for all trail riders. We do not allow camera or cell phone use on the trail - you need your hands to guide your horse! We ride rain or shine so please dress for the weather. Check in is from 3:30-4 p.m., trail ride from 4-5 p.m. *Parent/child class for ages eight and up and 52” or taller. For directions, please call 763-757-9447. Meet at Bunker Park Stables, 550 Bunker Lake Blvd., Andover, at 6 p.m. Enjoy a bonfire and then a hayride from 6:30-7:15 p.m. Dress appropriately for the weather. Resident wolves, mountain lions, coyotes, foxes, lynx and raptors will be the focus of this informative program around the campfire. At the end of the program, we will toast marshmallows and drink hot chocolate while the wolves fill the darkness with their incredible wild song.
