MIDDLE SCHOOL
BABYSITTING: AMERICAN RED CROSS CERTIFIED
Parents are looking for certified babysitters! Get a leg up on the competition with this Ameri-
can Red Cross class that prepares you for a wide variety of babysitting situations. Learn about
the basic care of young children including safety and responsibility, age-appropriate activities
and first aid. Must be at least 11 years of age to participate. Class includes a comprehensive
babysitting manual. Must complete the entire class to receive certification.
BEGINNING GUITAR
Join this dynamic class where you’ll
learn guitar basics such as reading
music, rhythm, melody and meter.
We keep the class fun while making
the instrument easily accessible for
everyone. There is a mini-recital at the
end of the session. Parents are invited
to attend. Let the music play! Note to
parents: Please supply your child with

bring guitar to each class. Students

DRUM LESSONS
This course is intended to provide a solid foundation in drum set performance and musician-
ship. We will initially focus on hand and foot techniques, basic rhythms, rudiments, and musical
styles. By the end of this course, all students should have the ability to confidently play various
drum beats and fills in multiple styles. Note to parents: Drumsticks and practice pads will be
provided with an option to purchase to take home.

HORSEMANSHIP: BEGINNING

with the parts of the horse; learn how to groom, saddle and mount your horse. Lessons take
place outdoors in a controlled environment. Class meets rain or shine. Parents are responsible
