ATHLETICS!
WELCOME
Discover community education!
Participating in extra-curricular
activities and athletic programs is
a great way for students to engage
in their school community as they
meet friends and learn new things.
Community Education offers a wide
variety of unique activities, designed
for teens, in the evening, on the
weekend or after-school to enhance
their academic and social
experience:
Information for athletic participants:
Middle school athletics are held at each middle school and focus on skill
development, participation, teamwork and safety. Teams are formed
based on each player’s skill level. Teams practice after school and compete
against other Anoka-Hennepin middle schools. Students must have a
Sports Qualifying Physical (valid for three years) on file to participate.
The form is available online or at your school’s Community Education
office. Activity busses are available Monday –Thursday. Parents are
responsible for transportation on Fridays and after games. For specific
schedules, visit www.ahmiddleschool athletics.org after the first week of
the program. Prices in ($XX) are for students currently receiving free or
reduced lunch through the Anoka-Hennepin School District.
